TRANSFORMASI INOVASI DIGITAL DALAM PENGUATAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN MAHASISWA DI ERA EKONOMI KREATIF

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a key catalyst in strengthening student entrepreneurship in the era of the creative economy. This article aims to review the role of digital innovation, entrepreneurial literacy, and higher education ecosystem support in enhancing students’ entrepreneurial interest and capabilities. The study employs a mixed-method approach: quantitative surveys to map students’ digital literacy and entrepreneurial skills, combined with qualitative interviews to explore experiences and challenges in developing creative technology-based ventures. The findings indicate that digital literacy has a significant influence on students’ entrepreneurial interest, explaining more than 50% of the variance in several studies. The integration of digital literacy and entrepreneurship education provides a stronger effect compared to either factor alone. The utilization of digital innovation through e-commerce, social media, fintech, and artificial intelligence contributes to market expansion, operational efficiency, and consumer trust. However, challenges such as limited digital security literacy, lack of access to funding, and insufficient campus ecosystem support still hinder the sustainability of student ventures. This article emphasizes the need for a comprehensive strategy that includes strengthening digital literacy, integrating technology-based entrepreneurship curricula, providing business incubators, and fostering collaboration between universities, industry, and technology providers. With such an approach, student entrepreneurship can grow into a competitive and sustainable driving force for the creative economy in the digital era
